Thực tập là một cơ hội quý báu cho sinh viên đại học học tập và thu thập thêm những kiến thức và kinh nghiệm quý báu. Trong khoảng thời gian thực tập, mình đã được làm việc với nhiều người giỏi và học được rất nhiều thứ từ họ. Mình và các bạn trong nhóm phải dịch một cuốn sách chuyên ngành. Đây là một công việc mang nhiều khó khăn bởi lẽ cuốn sách được viết ở một chuyên ngành hoàn toàn mới với cả nhóm. Để có thể dịch đúng và truyền đạt được chính xác nội dung, chúng mình đã phải đọc rất nhiều tài liệu cũng như tìm hiểu thêm nhiều thông tin khác nhau trên mạng. Từ đây mình cũng nhận ra rằng những môn học mà tụi mình được dạy tại trường thật sự rất hữu ích. Tụi mình được trang bị một nền kiến thức cốt yếu và nhờ đó mà chúng mình có thể phân tích và hiểu rõ được cấu trúc câu phức tạp trong những bài nghiên cứu.

Ngoài ra, trong khoảng thời gian này, tụi mình cũng nhận được nhiều sự giúp đỡ từ bên ngoài, đặc biệt là thầy hướng dẫn của tụi mình, thầy Tín. Nhờ có sự trợ giúp từ thầy mà nhóm tụi mình mới có thể hiểu và dịch được những cụm từ chuyên ngành khó mà trước giờ tụi mình chưa từng gặp. Trong lúc thực tập, bởi vì tụi mình làm việc theo nhóm nên mình học và trau dồi kỹ năng làm việc nhóm của bản thân rất nhiều. Trước tiên, từng người trong nhóm sẽ dịch và viết thành những bản nháp trước. Sau đó, cả nhóm sẽ ngồi lại để đọc và chỉnh lại những chỗ có lỗi sai. Quá trình này được lặp đi lặp lại nhiều lần nếu cần thiết trước khi tụi mình đưa ra bản chính thức. Bằng cách làm việc theo hệ thống như vậy, nhóm tụi mình mới có thể theo kịp khối lượng công việc và đưa ra những bản dịch tốt nhất. Cũng nhờ cách làm việc nhóm, mình đã học được rất nhiều từ những người bạn của mình. Bởi vì cả nhóm thường chia sẻ những bản dịch cá nhân riêng với nhau, nên mình có thể nghe và xem xét những cách hiểu, cách nhìn khác nhau khi dịch, và cuối cùng sẽ bàn bạc với nhau để cùng đưa ra một hướng dịch cụ thể. Mình còn được tiếp xúc với nhiều ý kiến và cách hành văn khác nhau của các thành viên trong nhóm nữa. Sau 2 tháng thực tập, mình thấy bản thân mình thật sự đã được phát triển và nhận lại nhiều lợi ích hơn hẳn những gì mình từng tưởng tượng nữa.
