🎯 Workshop Overview

This workshop aims to provide insights into how English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher education programmes can be conceptualised and designed in the Vietnamese context. Drawing on Singapore’s experience in ESL curriculum development and teacher preparation, the session will address:

  • Key principles for designing ESL teacher education curricula

  • Alignment between language policy, curriculum, and classroom practice

  • Implications for teacher education and professional development in Vietnam
