Besides, they have a chance to widen their knowledge of advanced vocabulary, pronunciation, and functional language, which can be used to enhance their English accuracy and fluency in group discussions, debates, informative presentations, proposal presentations, persuasive presentations, negotiations, and conflict management. The course also helps improve such important study skills as working in groups, note-taking, and comprehending long lectures, as well as test-taking skills. The course aims at helping students majoring in Technical Translation & Interpretation to practice text translation, Vietnamese to English and vice versa. Through the course, learners are able to improve their text analysis capacity, consolidate and sharpen their English grammar and vocabulary, significantly apply/ practically use and develop their knowledge of wide ranges of technical translation fields such as Environment Technology, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
