HCMUTE has recently re-published its procedure for students’ temporary leave, permanent withdrawal and study resumption upon the opening of the new school year.

Those who decide to stop their study temporarily for some time or withdraw from school permanently will have to follow a 4-step procedure issued by the university.

The University has issued the regulation on the evaluation of self-training for university students as in the attached document. The regulation is applied from the 1st semester of the school year 2021-2022. This regulation prescribes the evaluation of self-training results including:

The university allows lecturers to hire teaching assistants (TAs) to help with their teaching. The following are the regulations on TAs.
For TA applicants who are in their second, third or fourth-year, yearly GPA must be at least 6.5, and the average score of the course in which the applicant will act as a TA must be 7.5 or higher.
TA applicant must have certificate of completion of the TA training course at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education 
Applications must include:
1.    TA application form (M1)
