This course provides students with knowledge about method and technique to compare English and Vietnamese as well as knowledge of the trans-cultural perspectives between the East and West. Structural analysis is also another focus of this course and this emphasis helps students to recognize the mistakes in English language learning. This course in general strengthens students with necessary skills to conduct comparisons among different languages, to describe language from a critical perspective, to synthesize aspects of linguistic varieties, and to evaluate the English learning materials for language learners.

Khóa học Morphology-Syntax là khóa học dành cho sinh viên đại học đang theo đuổi chuyên ngành tiếng Anh. Mục đích của nó là cung cấp cho sinh viên kiến ​​thức nền tảng cần thiết để hiểu các thành phần ngữ pháp cốt lõi của ngôn ngữ và các khía cạnh thực tế của ứng dụng. Khóa học được chia thành hai phần: hình thái và cú pháp. Với tham chiếu đến Hình thái học, sinh viên sẽ nghiên cứu cấu trúc bên trong của các từ và mối quan hệ giữa các từ. Về cú pháp, sinh viên sẽ nghiên cứu cấu trúc bên trong của câu và mối quan hệ giữa các phần bên trong. Khóa học cũng phát triển kỹ năng thuyết trình của sinh viên và hợp tác làm việc nhóm.

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills to enable them to achieve the upper-intermediate level of English listening and speaking skills, or level B2+ in the CEFR accordingly. In particular, students will be able to comprehend and take notes in mini-lectures and short talks. Simultaneously, they can practice and enhance their presentation, discussion, and debating skills through a variety of speaking activities about issues mentioned in the lectures. By participating in task-based activities with a student-centered approach, students can also develop skills that enable students to succeed on their academic path and in their personal life such as predicting, inferring, analyzing, synthesizing, problem-solving, test-taking, teamworking, critical thinking, and language learning.  Also, a wide range of topics covered enables students to select and construct their academic and socio-economic values
