Overview

The course is designed for the third-year English majored students in the fifth semester in order to continue enhancing the Japanese ability of students who have finished the courses of Japanese Language 1 and 2. This course also aims at fostering students’ ability to communicate in Japanese at elementary level. In addition, the course provides the students with familiar topics related to famous places, shopping, travel and so on.

G1	Understand when talking about common situation such as famous places, shopping, travel, ect. Demonstrate basic knowledge about communication culture in common situations.
G2	Communicate in simple face-to-face and talk about oneself, their family, etc. Read short paragraphs, passages. Write simple sentences and short paragraphs.
G3	Develop self-study, teamwork, discussion and presentation skills. Form perception about the roles of Japanese in their future professional development.
