This course, therefore, offers intensive practice so that students can express their ideas effectively as well as master their individual and teamwork skills.

Overview

 

The course is designed for junior students to introduce an overview of interpretation and consecutive interpreting, in particular, prominent theories and types of interpretation, especially emphasizing the code of ethics necessary for interpreters. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will focus on practising the basic interpretation skills such as memorizing, taking notes, summarizing, etc. while interpreting sentences or short paragraphs (English and Vietnamese) with durations from 30 seconds to 01 minute on popular topics (education, culture, economy, society, science, etc.).
