Overview

The course is designed for English-majored students to enable them to obtain listening and speaking skills at higher pre-intermediate level (A2+). The course provides students with communicative actitivities based on contemporary topics such as presentation, simulation, debate, case study and public annoucements. Besides, academic skills, i.e. inferencing, consolidation, note-taking and exam taking skills are also emphasized to help students succeed academically.
