Registering Internship in Translation and Interpretation, 2022-2023 Academic Year, First Semester

Recipients  Interpreting and Translating Students
Requirements
To qualify as an intern, students must have completed 4 out of 5 following specialized modules:
•    Translation Theories
•    Administrative Document Translation
•    Technical Translation
•    Consecutive Interpretation
•    Simultaneous Interpretation 
Duration 
The tentative internship schedule is from 19/9/2022 to 31/11/2022 
How to apply
Students who are eligible for internships can register with either of the following:
1.     Internships at units recommended by the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL)
Students may view the available internship postings in the link below and select only one option. Since vacancies in each admission unit are limited, the opening positions will be removed from the link as filled. The form can only be submitted once via UTE email. In the event their submission is successful; students will be notified via their UTE email. Any change in the internship units will also be updated.

2.    Self-sourced Internships
Students may also source for their own internships but in order for it to be supported by the University, details have to be reviewed by FFL. To have a self-sourced internship reviewed, Students must submit a detailed job description certified by the employer that they applied. Confirmation from the FFL will be sent to students via their UTE email.
