I. LEARNING OUTCOMES
1. Understanding basic knowledge of social sciences, natural sciences, and systematic knowledge of Technical English Translation and Interpretation
- Presenting basic knowledge of social sciences and humanities as well as natural sciences to acquire professional education knowledge and meet the requirements of higher education.
- Describing foundational knowledge of the English major and Technical English Translation and Interpretation, along with the basic characteristics of British-American, Southeast Asian cultures, literature, and intercultural communication.
2. Applying new knowledge based on analytical skills and critical thinking
- Applying English language skills, as well as methods, techniques, and strategies for English-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English translation and interpretation appropriately.
- Collecting, analyzing, and refining information effectively, as well as applying new knowledge in English translation and interpretation practices.
3. Developing communication and teamwork skills effectively within and beyond professional contexts
- Developing communication and presentation skills to work well in professional and non-professional contexts.
- Enhancing teamwork skills and demonstrating professional behavior in multicultural work environments.
4. Forming ideas, designing, deploying, and applying knowledge and technology in Technical English Translation and Interpretation
- Recognizing the role of English and English-Vietnamese, Vietnamese-English translation and interpretation in the era of globalization.
