"Waves and computers for children,” a programme launched by Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính on September 12, 2021 to help millions of disadvantaged children learn online in provinces implementing social distancing, is now open for HCMUTE students.

The official letter No. 4690/BGDDT-GDCTHSSV dated 15/10/2021 sent to HCMUTE states that students can also benefit from this programme.

1. Eligibility criteria 
- To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants have to be first-year students of formal training programs and have never received any scholarships. 
- Applicants are also required to have high marks in the entrance exam.
- Priority is given to students from poor or very poor families (possessing poor or relatively poor Household Books).
