Overview

This course is designed to provide fourth-year TESOL students with professional experiences in real-life teaching context. Pre-service teachers will have opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills related to teaching methodology to observe English classes (both General English and English for Specific Purposes classes) and discuss with lecturers, their supervisor and peers about characteristics of learners, teaching approaches and methods applied, types of assessment as well as strategies for classroom management. Students are required to write reports on their observations and submit an end-of-course reflection on their professional development.
