My two-month internship has just ended in regret some days ago. This internship is one of the most memorable moments of my time at university. During the time that I did the internship at Ha Hai & Partners Law Office, I learned a wide range of useful knowledge and gained a lot of precious experiences for my future career. In the first week, I was instructed about the upcoming tasks during the internship and was assigned to translate a website about financial and investment. Every beginning is always difficult, so initially I was quite confused about the jobs and new working enviroment. After that, I started to translate more documents related to law. Legal documents’ vocabulary and writing style seemed to be novel to me, which made me take lots of time to finish them, but I improved the speed and quality of translation in the following weeks after gradually adapting to everything. Besides legal documents, I also faced the thorny tasks which were about the medical field. Due to never trying my hand at this field, I felt translating these documents like a nightmare; however, I tried my best to complete the tasks on deadline. The jobs were not easy like I had expected, but office staffs were friendly and sociable in return. They were always willing to support and guide me when I was stuck in something. Owing to these beautiful things, I felt some sorrow when I had to say goodbye to those who made my internship more meaningful. My internship started with an excitement, but finally finished with a regret in such a way.
