On July 6, VinSmart Research and Manufacture Joint Stock Company announced its newly developed Vsmart Aris, the very first Vietnamese-made 5G-enabled smartphone.
Vsmart Aris 5G results from the cooperation between VinSmart and the US chipmaker Qualcomm.
It comes with the Sub-6 GHz 5G connectivity and the Quantis QRNG security chip. Also, Vsmart Aris 5G is the first product in the world built onto a modular architecture which allows flexibility in hardware design, shortens the developing spans, and this model supports most of the frequency bands, Thanh Nien newspaper reported.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Tuyen, director of the measurement center of the Vietnam Telecommunications Authority, told VnExpress that the network 5G speeds of Vsmart Aris are eight times faster than 4G speeds.
Aris 5G features a Super AMOLED 6.39" display. It is powered by Snapdragon 765 processor, 8GB RAM, 128 GB ROM, and 4000 mAh battery.
According to Dan Tri newspaper, Vsmart is committed to further development of their 5G smartphones whose next generations will continue to support both Sub 6 and mmWave, the two frequency bands currently used for 5G technology.
The success of Vsmart Aris 5G signifies the readiness of Vinsmart in mastering core technologies. It is also a convincing example of the acceleration of Vietnam in Industry 4.0.
