My senior year is probably the most memorable time because this is a turning-point and amounts to the accuracy when the decision of selecting a career is made. During nearly 2 months as an intern, I have accumulated for myself new experiences as well as the soft skills needed for my future career.

I am very lucky to be able to study at HCMUTE and receive timely support from teachers and friends. This internship, I worked at AKT - a company providing translating-interpreting services. At first, everything was strange to me because I was tasked with inserting, editing subtitles of videos on the company's YouTube channel and synthesizing learning materials for each specific subject. This was a very new skill to me, but fortunately, the colleagues in the company guided me very enthusiastically and thoughtfully so that I could complete the job on schedule. It can be said that, besides the guidance from the company, the knowledge that I had learned at school contributed significantly to the efficiency of the work that I performed. While working, I often came across difficult sentences and phrases that are not in the dictionary. Only at such times did I understand the importance of the specialized subjects at school and I deeply appreciate the teachers who have put all their heart in the work of education.

Although I am a bit regretful as my internship was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, in retrospect, what I learned is more than what is lost and I set great store by these valuable practical experiences. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the support from the teachers of HCMUTE and especially to my instructor, Ms Hua Tran Phuong Thao, for my smooth and successful internship.
