The course aims at helping students majoring in Technical Translation & Interpretation to practice text translation, Vietnamese to English and vice versa. Through the course, learners are able to improve their text analysis capacity, consolidate and sharpen their English grammar and vocabulary, significantly apply/ practically use and develop their knowledge of wide ranges of technical translation fields such as Environment Technology, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Regarding course accomplishment, learners are well-equipped with translation’s radical issues, have ability to translate texts of various technical fields, effectively exploit dictionaries, and express enthusiasm for Translation art.

This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills to enable them to achieve the upper-intermediate level of English listening and speaking skills, or level B2+ in the CEFR accordingly. In particular, students will be able to comprehend and take notes in mini-lectures and short talks. Simultaneously, they can practice and enhance their presentation, discussion, and debating skills through a variety of speaking activities about issues mentioned in the lectures.
