Changing majors

Students are eligible to change majors if one of the following requirements is met:
1.    Students have to meet the entrance score of the new faculty and have plausible reasons which have been approved by their parents and the students’ administration faculty
2.    After finishing the first year, the students’ average score of the previous school year must be at least 8.50 points for students in Economic majors or English majors; and 8.00 points for engineering students. Moreover, the number of credits in the academic year is 30 or more, and the behavior point is 80 or more.
The students’ current faculty will review the application, reasons and counsel the students. For students changing majors in the same engineering sector, applications will only be considered after the students have completed the first school year.
    Application time:
1.    For new students: application forms must be submitted within the first 2 weeks from the date of admission.
2.    During the semester: application forms must be submitted during the reserve week of the semester. Students who are allowed to change majors will register classes for the new major in the following semester.
