Allowances for students suffering hardship due to Covid-19 pandemic

1. Beneficiary:
A. Support for students in difficult circumstances: Worth 3,000,000 VND each. Granted to students with difficult family circumstances or near-poor households in the following cases:
Families have a monthly average income between 700,000 and 1,000,000 VND (in rural areas) or 900,000 and 1,300,000 VND (in urban areas).
Students who have lost their mothers or fathers and others must work to generate income for more than four people.
Students whose parents are with chronic conditions need money for long-term treatment.
B. Support for students in challenging circumstances: Worth 6,000,000 VND each. Granted to students with difficult family circumstances or near-poor households in the following cases:

Families earn between VND 700,000 and VND 1,000,000 per month (in rural areas) or VND 900,000 and VND 1,300,000 per month (in urban areas).
Students who have lost their mothers or fathers and others cannot work to generate income for more than four people.
Students whose parents are with chronic conditions need money for long-term treatment.
C. Sponsorship for students in challenging circumstances: Worth 9,000,000 VND if all conditions are met:
Score 5 or higher for all courses registered in the 2020-2021 second semester ( students whose academic year starts from 2021 will not be considered for this condition).
During the learning process, lack of reprimand or higher level discipline.
Challenging family circumstances, directly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic: Students whose parents have lost their jobs as a result of the Covid-19 epidemic, leaving their families with no income and facing economic difficulties; or other complex cases caused by the Covid-19 outbreak, such as the family experiencing a significant event with a loved one becoming seriously ill or passing away; in the same situation, the Faculty will base its decision on the student's learning score.
Note: Students who have been exempted or reduced from 50 to 100% of tuition fees as prescribed will not be considered at the rate of VND 9,000,000.

Students applying for a subsidy for difficulties affected by the Covid-19 epidemic follow this link.
3. Application submission:
Students must submit online proof of their family situation corresponding to the recommended level.
4. Duration:
From now until the end of October 15, 2021.
