Instructed by the Government (via Official Dispatch numbered 1699/CĐ-TTg issued on 02/12/2020) and the Ministry of Education and Training (via Document numbered 5210/BGDĐT-GDTC issued on 02/12/2020) about adopting tougher measures to prevent and fight against the pandemic, HCMUTE Covid-19 Committee require staffs, students and quests to follow the below instructions:
1.    Seriously follow the “5K” (i.e., wearing masks, disinfection, keeping distance, no assembly, and making medical report when required)
2.    Temporarily halt both indoor and outdoor activities or events that includes gatherings.
3.    Have the body temperature measured and wear masks at the campus or dormitory gates; wash hands frequently; ensure good personal hygiene; wear masks during face-to-face conversations; implement social distancing in classrooms, in self-study spaces, and in the library by sitting or standing one meter away from others and keeping at most five people in the elevator at one time.
4.    Immediately contact a local medical center via the hot line and go to a hospital having a quarantine area as soon as recognizing symptoms such as a fever, a cough, a chill, shortness of breath, and sudden fatigue or feeling that you are having Covid-19. You can also contact Mr Thuong (090204.3979), Ms Ngan (0919.033.106) or Mr Thuy (0918.883.925) for support.
5.    Be quarantined in medical centers in case you have direct contact with Covid-19 patients (F1); self-quarantine under supervision in case you have indirect contact with the patients (F2 and F3). F2 and F3 cases who are Covid-19 positive are quarantined in medical centers to prevent the widespread of the disease in communities. Faculty leaders and teaching staff are required to organize online classes for students in quarantine.
