Due to the rapid development of smart devices, a number of applications have been exploding. The demand for popularizing these applications to users worldwide is increasing. However, with cultural differences, languages of those applications need to be customized to suit users of diverse markets. To meet this demand, the course of IT translation is designed to provide Translation and Interpretation students with background knowledge and terminology of information technology. Based on this platform, learners will be accommodated with translation techniques of documents, software applications, hardware and software manuals, etc.

The subject aims to equip students with knowledge and skills in translating administrative documents such as email, study application, degree, identification paper, etc. Via practicing translating these types of documents, students are supposed to improve the accuracy and clarity of the translation.
