Overview
Second-year students majoring in TESOL Studies are equipped with basic principles of teaching language aspects (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) and teaching four macro skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) as well as methods and strategies for designing an effective lesson plan. Besides theoretical knowledge, students also have opportunities to practice designing lesson plans and conduct micro-teaching sessions. Feedback from the lecturer and peers will not only help students gain basic insights into ESL teaching and learning but also develop their Englishteaching skills in the future.
