Mentoring is always one of the most important aspect of teacher education. This issue is also our great concern as part of our EFL teachers training program. It was our great pleasure to welcome Dr. Hoa Nguyen, a TESOL lecturer from School of Education, University of New South Wales, Australia to our faculty on February 20th 2017. Dr Hoa Nguyen was talking about different peer mentoring models in teacher education and teacher professional development. She also shared her expertise and experience gained from both contexts of Vietnam and Australia.

HCMUTE’s Science-Technology and International Affairs Office has announced the application process for “Research for a Better Life 2020,” a competition organized by the university to encourage and honor its lecturers and students’ initiatives in solving such urgent problems as environment, community service and economic sustainable development. 

Lecturers and students can join in the contest individually or as a group. For groups of student contestants, a lecturer’s supervision is required.
