Overview
This course is intended for HCMUTE English majored students at the upper-intermediate level to achieve low-advanced level (equivalent to B2 – CEFR) in pronunciation. It equips students with knowledge of varieties of English, the pronunciation of words and phrases including consonant clusters, stressed and unstressed syllables, and foreign words. Besides, other elements of pronunciation such as linking sounds, speech units, prominence, non-prominence and intonation are also covered with the purpose of helping students manage their conversations more effectively and confidently
