Overview

 

Translation Theories provide students with basic principles in the field of translation types of translation-interpreting, methods and techniques of translation, the difference between translations English-Vietnamese and Vietnamese-English. In addition, the module also provides learners with an overview of the general concepts and information on translation history, translation and interpreting, and practical exercises. By the end of the course, students are expected to be able to apply translation theories into practice translation and interpretation, and promote their passion for translating.

Describe the position of the subject in the overall curriculum, describe the basic concepts of translation theory, show the difference between translation and translation, describe the characteristics of a good piece of translation, describe problems encountered in translation and find solutions, present steps to translate a text

Identify the approach, the most appropriate translation techniques for text to translate, demonstrates the professional behavior and ethics of a translator

Work in groups to discuss and resolve issues related to translation, fluently and persuasively present matters related to translation
