Overview

Due to the rapid development of smart devices, a number of applications have been exploding. The demand for popularizing these applications to users worldwide is increasing. However, with cultural differences, languages of those applications need to be customized to suit users of diverse markets. To meet this demand, the course of IT translation is designed to provide Translation and Interpretation students with background knowledge and terminology of information technology. Based on this platform, learners will be accommodated with translation techniques of documents, software applications, hardware and software manuals, etc. Learning process will be involved in reading and discussing materials, searching for information, sharing experiences, presentations, practices, feedback, etc. By the end of the course, in addition to acquired translation skills, learners will also deeply understand the needs and process of translating international applications into Vietnamese in the domestic market.
